Snapped this picture a few days ago. It was inside on a cloudy day with no lights on in the room. Very little ambient light. The details of Monty's face were completely lost in shadows, even using the HDR function in the default camera app.

I knew an update was coming to taptaptap's Camera+ app that might help so I snapped an extra shot and saved it in my lightbox. The update hit the app store this morning so I tried the new Clarity filter. The photo doesn't have any other effects applied. The results are far beyond anything I got from HDR or other camera+ filters. Excellent work, taptaptap. Camera+ is definitely the iPhone camera app to have.
